Listed below are several HOWTOs I’ve written. They’re all related to using the mod_jk Apache module to handle JSPs and servlets with Apache by passing requests to and from Tomcat. I’ve recently switched to a Mac at home, so I’ll have another HOWTO for getting mod_jk working with Apache and Tomcat on OS X soon.
The process for installing and configuring mod_jk is pretty much the same, regardless of environment. About the only things that change are file paths and directories.
Even more HOWTOs are on the way. For now, I hope those shown below help you out.
Linux
mod_jk, Apache 2.0.47, Tomcat 4.1.27, RedHat 9
mod_jk, Apache 2.0.43, Tomcat 4.1.18, RedHat 7.3
Windows
mod_jk, Apache 2.0.48, Tomcat 4.1.29, WinXP Pro
mod_jk, Apache 2.0.43, Tomcat 4.1.18, WinXP Pro
Solaris
mod_jk, Apache 2.0.43, Tomcat 4.1.12, Solaris 8 (SPARC)
