About
My name is John Turner. I’m an author, technology professional, voice artist and amateur poker player. If I’m not playing poker, I’m probably cruising and touring on my motorcycle or tinkering on something mechanical out in my garage.
I have significant technology experience, especially in network management, network security, infrastructure architecture, and system administration. As you can see to the right of the page, I’ve also co-authored two books and am working on a third. I’m currently engaged on a major contract managing one of the largest networks in the world, but I’m always advancing my skillset and on the lookout for challenging opportunities. If you think you have one I might be interested in, please contact me for my resumé.

Hi John,
Just reorganizing my MP3s – I was inspired by the new Winamp 10th anniversary edition – and came across some very cool stuff you did with the acidplanet software back in the day… just wanted to say hi and catch up.
Are you on any of the usual suspect social networking sites? Please let me know and I’ll look for you and send you an invite.
Take Care,
Brian
John, I found a review of yours on amazon.com about a music industry DIY book. You said the book was full of vague advice. Can you recommend something for someone who already knows the basics and is tired of half assed advice? Thanks
