I am sooooo tired of vampire TV shows, vampire movies, and people trying to look and/or act like vampires. I just don’t understand the fascination with vampires that so many people seem to have. The whole thing is just really boring. They suck blood and live forever. We get it. Enough already!

Vampires symbolize both uninhibited carnality and rapacious business sense, connected with an alienation from childhood and ethics. They tend to be popular with people who have outrun their headlights chasing careers at the expense of a personal life.
Plus which there is a real-life fetish community who delight in “tubes”, or piercing each other with thin metal tubing to collect or drink what comes out. Bleggch.
I agree…there should be more Zombie movies…I would say that more people should act like them but there are plenty in our Nation’s capitol.
